Here I am at home(my dad's), and I'm pretty much bored out of my mind.  He's only got the one tv, and we're watching all three of the Lord of the Rings movies, which just happen to be playing all in a row on tnt.  So much fun.  Don't get me wrong, I like the movies, but not all in one day, especially since they've all been stretched out to 4 hours with all the commercials.  At least we do have fresh, homemade deer jerky to snack on......yep, my dad and my little brother each got a deer last weekend, so we've got tons of venison, and the jerky is awesome!

In other news, I survived finals week, even without sleep!  I really only had two hard ones, but they weren't really as hard as I thought they would be.  The thing that took the most time was a take-home component of my abstract algebra final.......what exactly is an algebra???  I'm not exactly sure I know, but I did write a paper on it.....

I love it when it snows!  It's just like a white cover-all for everything.  Snow makes everything look pretty.  And it's fun to drive in, that is, when you know how to slide a little when you turn.  The people that don't have a clue how to drive on ice and snow should not be allowed out of their houses, at all.  That way the rest of us can enjoy it in peace, not in pieces.  Stay safe and warm, all!!!

So the only reason I'm on here is because I should be doing homework, but I'm just not really feeling it at the momemt.  Plus, I only have 15 more minutes until our hall party, so there's no point to even start any homework.  Anyways, surgery went fine; I'm mainly working on range of motion now.  It's a slow process, but I can tell there has been progress.  Still won't be cleared to jog for another six weeks, so that's frustrating.  Oh well, such is life.  Hope everyone has a less stressful last two weeks of school than I will!!!

Surgery went well, now I have a few holes in my knee.  It doesn't hurt too much, mainly because I have some good drugs for the pain.  I'm down to using one crutch, so things are looking good.  Well, I'm tired, so I'm heading off to bed.  Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!

So right now I should be studying for my Abstract Algebra test, but I'm just not feeling it.  I stayed up late trying to understand all the concepts last night, but they just don't seem to stay in my brain for very long.  I'm taking it at 12:30, and then all I have is a take-home component, and then I'm done 'til after Thanksgiving with all my schoolwork.  I just want to be done.  With today, with this week, with the semester.  This one has been a crazy one for me as far as things to do and limited time resources, and on top of all that, I have surgery tomorrow.  In 25 hours, I will be under the knife, getting my acl and meniscus repaired.  I'm soooooo ready to get this surgery done and over with and start in on the rehab.  It's been such a long 4 weeks since I tore it, and I'm tired of waiting.  And honestly, it'll be the first time in a month that I'll get a good amount of rest.  I've been go go go this entire semester, and it'll be nice to have a break.  Well, I think I might go glance at some notes, and then head to class.  Have a great hump day!!!

Update:  we chit-chatted yesterday, and got some things aired out, but basically, it's just one person that is causing trrouble in the room, but she is never there when we all start discussing things, so nothing gets done.  I can only try and be civilized for so long, and then I think I'm going to snap.  Hopefully that won't happen, but who knows?  Usually I don't let things get to me, but I don't know, there's just something about her that makes my blood boil even thinking about her.  Pray I keep my cool ;)
